      Hydra slide

“Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ouch my face” said Noah “hahahahahahah” i laughed.

In the hydra slide me and noah hit our heads on the top of the water slide and fell over.

As soon as we hit the bottom we dashed back into the line and waited. until it was our turn we raced back up with these other kids. when we walked down the other kids burst down and….. we got wrecked.

“MY head hurts” I said.

“Ouch! Lets just go pop some manu’” Said noah.  

After we we did some manus we bolted back up to the slide and we walked down.  and then mr kenny came in and said lunch so we went out to eat lunch . ANd that is the end.

Calendar Art

WALT present a piece of art work for our parents to buy.

Success Criteria

                     Calendar art

For our calendar art we did footprint art and hand print art and I did R2D2 of star wars . I did a red background,  it took me 2 days to finish R2D2. I had to do some details on R2D2  and write  R2D2 on the side to put more detail in R2D2.  We had to do a draft first, then we had to do a good copy. After we did the good copy Mrs Miller had to print the hand print art and footprint art on a smaller piece of paper. The challenging thing about my calendar art was to write R2D2 on the side.

Animal Band Reader's Theater

WALT perform an audience

On Friday the 4th of September 2015, my class and I did an Assembly item called the Animal band.  There were the donkeys, dogs, cats, roosters readers, robbers and narrators. I was a dog and Declan, Jasmine and Kalae were too. 
The part that had the most lines was the donkeys. I felt nervous and excited at the same time. 
As soon as the 600 people came in I felt even more nervous. I also felt butterflies in tummy. 
When we had done all of our lines, for the exit song they put on   
WATCH ME WHIP / NAE NAE.

Speed boats are better then Helicopters.

WALT persuade other students to agree with our opinion.  This the purpose for my writing.

Success Criteria:

1. I plan for a writing task
2. I write a variety of sentence lengths with different sentence starters
3. Give reasons with detail - use specific words
4. I write most topic and high frequency words correctly.
5. I use capital letters, fullstops, question marks and exclamation marks correctly.
6. Use persuasive language

Speed boats are better than helicopters

In my opinion I believe that speed boats are better than helicopters  

The cool thing about speed boats is there speed can go between 160 and 170 mph. If you put nitro in it you can go up to 205 mph, if you have 10 packs of nitro you can to 500 mph but you have to have 2 engines in the front and 2 at the back. There is another kind of speed boat called Jet boats.  Jet boats are a type of racing boats and speedboats are fishing and racing boats.

The thing about helicopters is that they are more expensive, helicopters are about $80,000 and speed boats are about $20,000 or $10,000. Helicopters are more dangerous, for example if you jump or put your hand in the air it could get chopped off.

On speed boats you don't hear the annoying sound when you go on a helicopter, unlike speed boats they don’t make noise.

Therefore I strongly believe that speed boats are better than helicopters.
