WALT skim an unknown text so that we can quickly get an understanding of it. I can decide if a book has useful information I need or whether I want to read it for pleasure. Skimming is a fast reading technique.
1 Look for the title.
2 Look on the back for the blurb.
3 Look for key words.
4 Look at the pictures.
5 Look at the author and illustrator.
Well done Jaden! You made it really clear of what to do if you when u r skimming. You could be... a little more louder on the video, though. :-/ ;-)
